We found the place on google maps as we wanted to have a break away from the motorway. The place is magical. The lady was very nice and checked if still need something couple of times altough it was difficult for us to undestand each other. We would like to go back soon and try something else from the menu.

Abbiamo pranzato in comitiva e tutto si è svolto in modo perfetto, addirittura oltre le nostre aspettative. Torneremo sicuramente in futuro in questo grotto come piace a noi!

Siamo stati in questo Grotto con amici, a Lodrino, in una zona dedicata ai Grotti che non conoscevamo della Riviera ticinese. Devo dire un bel posto, molto tipico con ambiente curato e pulito. Tutto quello che abbiamo ordinato era molto buono, ben cotto e gustoso. Anche la proprietaria era molto attenta a noi commensali. Servizio veloce e cameriere gentili ed attente. Grande parcheggio sterrato. Molto curioso e simpatica la scritta che ho trovato nel locale bagno a fine serata.

This is a typical "Grotto". Limited variety of available food (but very tasty) is exactly how it should be; if you don't like that then you would be better off in a normal restaurant.
